E3 2010 Playstation Move versus Xbox Kinect Saturday, 19 June 2010 14:14 Now that E3 is over with for another year there is the fighting between fanboys that you would tend to expect.  The main topic of this fighting is over PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect.  Which is better?
E3 2010 Day 1 Press Conference Review Wednesday, 16 June 2010 14:07 The first official day of E3 2010 is now over and I have once again attempted to collect my thoughts on the events of the day's press conferences.
E3 2010 Day 0 Press Conference Review Tuesday, 15 June 2010 12:43 So, the (sort of) first day of E3 2010 has come and gone.  This first day is not really considered the first day of E3 as the floor isn't really open until the next day, but to me it tends to be the most important day of the expo.
Modular Insignificance Wednesday, 09 June 2010 14:36 Realized today that I completely missed HBO's The Pacific.  That sucks, but then again it doesn't.  I didn't know I was missing anything and now that I've realized I missed it I am able to watch it straight through without any waiting for new episodes to come out.
Progress Monday, 24 May 2010 00:00 Work on the corporate website is moving along nicely.  Using a new platform (new to me anyway) now and it is much better.  The theme is looking quite nice and almost all of the functionality is in place. Soon I will have to start working on the content, which isn’t particularly easy for this type of site (again, at least for me.)
Milking the Drop Friday, 21 May 2010 00:00 "I have no idea when I will ever get around to putting up a real site again." Well, the when is now.  I’ve got the new site set up.  Sort of.  I’m not sure how happy I am with the look but it works for now.

Writing in the Shadows

"Dark romantic storytelling."

Watch a story unfold. See the process of a new author as she develops her projects.

Musical Offerings

"Free music.  Yes, free."

It's not the worst thing ever made.  I promise.  Some people actually like it.

E3 2010 Playstation Move versus Xbox Kinect
An (arguably) intelligent look at the potential and limitations of both control systems
E3 is over and as usual has left the fanboys fighting amongst themselves. Which is better? Kinect or Move? Does it even work that way? Click the button to read more.

E3 2010 Day 1 Press Conference Review
Nintendo and Sony press conferences.
Another disappointing day for E3 2010 press conferences. Sony and Nintendo display their mastery of blowing hot air. Click the button to read more.

Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft press conferences.
My thoughts on today's events at E3. Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft all had their press conferences today. Mostly disappointing. Click the button to read more.

TV, Movies, Video Games, Programming, and chicks.
Ok so there are no chicks. There is HBO's The Pacific, The Green Zone, and random other things. I babble about programming and my new project also. There's more if you only click that button.

Web development and television shows
Work on the corporate website is moving along nicely.  A vague complaint about the Lost finale, a rant about the cancellation of Flash Forward, and a mention of Castle.  Click the button to read more.

New Wordpress site is up and running
My new Wordpress site is up and running, and basically you are on it.  Yep, that's pretty much it.  Just a quick (maybe) temporary design.

Adobe Kuler

This is Adobe's free online colour schemer.  It
has some great features such as generating your
colours by examining a picture that you like
(from Flickr or from your computer).  You can
also work out your colours manually.

The site has tons of users already and if you
don't want to work out your colours on your
own then you can look through the thousands
of already created schemes.

Sound Cloud

Sound Cloud

A little bit like YouTube for audio.  Musicians (or
producers, DJs, rappers, whatever) can sign up
(for free or paid premium) and upload their
music.  This is a great way to find new artists
and some of the work on here is absolutely
excellent.

If you like Dubstep I recommend you look up
Inofaith.

My music can also be found on this site.  My
account is located here.

Aviary

Aviary

Aviary is an online image suite.  Basically it is
Adobe Creative Suite in your browser, for
free.  Keep in mind that that's me saying
that and not them.  They could probably be
sued for saying that.

This is great for those times when you are at a
friend's house and need to do some image
editing, only to find out he has nothing of use
on his (or her) computer.  Enter Aviary.

Either that or you are just bored :)

Loop Labs

Loop Labs

A great little site for making music when you
don't have access to a proper DAW.  The
web apps on this site are loop sequencers
and they work fairly well.

I've made a couple quick songs on this site
when I needed to amuse myself.
